Several years ago, now, I was asked by a pastor to write a Christmas lullaby he could use in his Christmas service. Seemed that he wanted something that would go along with the Christmas story, contain the basic elements of the story, but have it told in a sort of ‘lullaby’ that would be sung to the baby Jesus.
